Under Armour Men's Speedform Gemini 3 Running Shoes

I thought these would be perfect... The shoe is a perfect fit, the toe box is wide enough, the arch support and heel cup and integrated seamlessly and great stability when running. The major problem is that the back at the heel cuts in at my achilles tendon and rubs blisters. It wasn't bad at first, but after the first couple of miles I was miserable and had to run back. Almost thought about calling uber, I was so miserable.

I was in need of a new pair of running shoes and was on my way to the Asics store to get a pair of their GT2000 or Kayano. I happened to have a UA Gift Card that I planned to use to get a couple of shirts or shorts. I'm glad I went to the UA store first and decided to REALLY check out your running shoes! After some consideration I decided on a pair of Speedform Gemini 3s. They fit and feel GREAT. The lacing system enables a consistent secure fit throughout my entire run. No having to stop and retie because the laces have loosened up. The Charged midsole supplies OUTSTANDING cushioning. I REALLY LIKE the way the heel of the upper is made and fits. The upper, insole and tongue are ALL very comfortable. Overall this is a VERY NICE SHOE THAT I HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!! My only concern is the way the High Abrasion rubber under the heel has worn. I've run approx. 400 miles in them and the rubber is worn thru almost to the midsole. Am I expecting too much or have they worn early?

I cannot believe all the bad reviews on these shoes, in fact, because of them I almost bought a different pair: but I am glad I didn't. The new Gemini 3's are amazing. I believe they are the best Gemini yet. First the toe-box has been enlarge to give more wiggle room, which was well needed. Second the midfoot has been enhanced with more support which gives the shoe a more secure fitting and more assurance on the run. Third the heel cup has also gotten a make-over and fit's my heel much better than the past two versions. Overall the shoe excels. I loved the first two Gemini's - the first better than the second. I was even a bit skeptical when I first got the shoes, they felt a little stiff. Then I tried them on and went for a run and was blown away, really. I couldn't stop feeling excited. I run around 30 miles a week and for two weeks now they have done nothing but satisfy. Don't listen to the other reviews. Just try them out and run your heart out...

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I already clocked over 100 miles in seven weeks. Arguably my best running shoe in 12 years of trying different shoes. The upper unit flexibility and comfort plus the cushioning system delivers a smooth and responsive ride. Too early to judge the durability but so far so good, I'm loving it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this shoe to ref basketball in. Most all black shoe I could find for summer and junior leagues. Was hoping it would be as good as the Gemini 2. Not close. Not a bad shoe, but Gemini 2 is the best shoe I've had ever. Still have plantar fasciitis. Gemini 2 let's me run.
