Very little to no cushion the gel support is way to firm!

I expected the seat to be really comfortable but it is not. It is wide but the two cushion pads for your rear feel ha rd and put a lot of pressure on my butt bones. I never did try the seat that came with the bike but I'm sure this one is much better. Still I expected a lot more cushion from the gel pads.
