i thought i was getting a good deal on this camera but it takes 3 AAA and even if your not using the camera it will eat through batteries like crazy, i took close to 100 pics with this camera and i only got a couple that were usable, the rest were so blurry i could hardly tell what it was, i guess you get what you pay for, i learned my lesson.

For the price the camera is OK. I have shaky hands thanks to health issues. The camera was supposed to be anti shake. It's not ! This was the only fault I found with it. For me it means I must use a tripod for every photo or it's comes out Blurry in the worst way ! Still for the price I paid if it gets stolen, lost or destroyed. Iam not going to get excited. Kinda wished I had held off and waited a little bit. The Kodak cameras do have excellent stop action photo quality. My 10 year old Kodak died and this is what I replaced it with. When this one goes bad or maybe even before I will go back to Kodak again. Believe me the exta money put out for the Kodak is well worth the trouble !

It is a basic starter camera, that is easy to use. The camera does require the Anti-Shake option to function decently. Once the Anti-Shake is selected as Yes, it is not permanently saved. Once the camera is powered off, the Anti-Shake default option is back to No. This problem is also persistent with the Flash mode. A Flash mode is selected, then once the camera is powered off the Flash mode will default back to Off. Since you want to conserve batteries, this becomes a real nuisance to change these settings constantly.

Honestly... I was excited about the price I paid, however that is what you get for the price. It is a great camera for children ages 9-15yrs. As far as a family camera, not so much. It was blurry and the picture quality was grainy. I had to return it a week later as it was just not what I was looking for in a camera.

I bought this camera for my daughter as a step up from her old Fisher Price camera (she is 8). It was easy to use, but the picture quality was very disappointing. I thought it might be due to her shaky hand, but my trials were the same. Don't waste your money. This is going in for exchange.
