Weiman Granite Sealer, 12 oz

I received this Weiman Granite ans Stone Sealer from Walmart Spark review and think that it works just Great! It provides an invisible protective barrier that prevents soils from penetrating and staining surfaces. Reseal stone surfaces every 6 to 12 months or when water droplets no longer bead up on the surface. It is professional strength, water-based formula.Helps prevent stains from food, water and oil. Protective and resists stains and makes cleaning easier. Recommended for all stone surfaces. I would recommend this to anyone with any stone.

Like most people I was clueless what to do about sealing my granite counter tops. So, this product is very welcome. It is made by Weiman, a name I trust for other products like glass stove-top cleaner. Reading the directions, you find this is super easy to use. Clean your granite. Spray on the sealer. Wait 5 minutes. Wipe off excess. Let dry 4-6 hours. That's it. My counter tops were not in bad shape, so there was not a tremendous before and after result. But the surface shines very nicely. .... Follow the instructions to use spray until evenly wet. In a couple of places I had to re-spray to get rid of what looked like water spots. My bad. But with little rubbing, I got an clean, even shine.

We've lived in our home for almost 6 years- it was brand new. We've never resealed the granite counter tops and have probably used too. Many abrasive cleaners. But they are still moderately shiny. I tried the sealant and let it “sink in” as instructions direct and then wiped off/ buffed in. Didn't notice any difference whatsoever... other than a very strong chemical smell. I wouldn't waste my time doing our entire kitchen for little to no results.

Many people who have granite don't realize you need to seal it with proper cleaner and sealer every 6-12 months depending on how gross you are. Otherwise your granite will get hard bacteria and mold...yuck. I decided to give the Weiman a try and I am very satisfied with it. It cleaned and sealed the granite like a champ. I would recommend.

I am a real fan of Weiman products. This didn't disappoint me. It's easy to apply with a light buffing. Knowing the countertops are sealed to prevent damage is reassuring. I didn't see any hazing or streaking, but my countertops are a flat finish (not shiny). I had a tomato that was left on the countertop that burst open, and the acid didn't soak through the countertop. Perfect test to tell whether it seals, and it passed.
