Wella Color Charm Permanent Liquid Hair Color - 6G/555

I bleached my hair to lift the semi permanent color from it. My hair turned bright highlighter pink!!! Luckily I had Wella T14 toner tucked away. It got rid of the pink and toned my hair so beautifully to an ash blonde color that is perfect for my skin tone!!!

It was introduced and suggested to me by a hair stylist who used to dye my hair. At that time, it was only possible to purchase individual components and the boxed product became available about a year ago. I have been buying the boxed product and doing myself since then. In the past month I have purchased and used 3 boxes. Same color as always; however, not the same results. The first one turned my roots purple. The second box also turned purple in the bowl so I didn't try to use it. The third didn't turn purple so I applied it. I am not too sure what I would call this color but it is not a color that I want to have on my head or anything like what is on the box. Is this the quality of product which I can expect in Mexico or is this type of thing happening elsewhere????

I did not have a change to go to the salon for a touch up, so I decided to try it myself. After much reviews and tutorials, I chose to go with T18. My original hair is color is a level one with a balayage of levels 6-10. This product was easy to mix and apply with great results. I was able to remove the brass and achieve the ashy tones that my stylist was not able to. The only down side is length of wear. It has been about 2 weeks since the application and I am almost back to brass.

I bought 4A / 237 Medium Ash Brown to darken my brassy faded hair. And it is DARK. It almost looks black in artificial light and not even close to medium brown in natural light. I left it on for 30 minutes as instructed and my hair is so dark from it. I don't have anything against dark hair, but I did not have my hair bleached twice to get a color that looks almost like my natural hair color. I'm highly disappointed. Go lighter than you think you need to go.
