The one hour wash cycle does not clean AT ALL. The normal cycle (that takes a couple hours to get through) leaves a thick film on your dishes even with expensive detergents. We needed a portable dishwasher to replace an older model. There aren't many to choose from any more. Fortunately, our local appliance dealer had this Portable Dishwasher with Soil Sensor on their floor. The price was right. I have had this in operation for 3 weeks and it sometimes won't start unless it finishes the drying cycle I always unplug it during to allow the dishes to air dry overnight and save that fan and heating element from using electricity. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

I purchased this dishwasher in 2014 and it wasn't used in 2015. So it's only had about a year and a half of use. No matter what wash setting is used, it still does not seem to get the dishes washed, even when well rinsed, very carefully placed, and using high temp. I cleaned out the filters and made sure they are in place and tight. But that still does not seem to help.

The bottom of this dishwasher will be much easier to clean when build up occurs which is helpful. Also the design of the bottom will prevent losing small items without knowing it. We are using the dishwasher in a daycare, and it is doing a phenomenal job of cleaning, our old one often had 1/3 to 1/2 the dishes needing to be hand washed after.
