Product Details

Innovative technology helps this Whirlpool ® Duet ® 7.4 cu. ft. front load dryer read incoming and outgoing air temperatures while monitoring moisture levels inside the dryer. Advanced Moisture Sensing also helps the drying cycle end when everything is perfectly dry, saving time and energy. Paired with this model's quad baffles, this dryer will even preserve the perfect fit of your favorite clothes. Quad baffles also help larger items billow out for better drying, while smaller items keep tumbling without getting stuck riding the baffles. You can even help wrinkles from setting into your clean clothes with the Wrinkle Shield option. It intermittently tumbles clothes after the cycle's end for up to 140 minutes.

We bought our appliance before Christmas and can not say enough about how I love this washer dryer pair. Easy to use and side by side easy to switch loads from one to the other. We also got the pedestals as I have a back problem and the height is perfect for this with no straining the back!

I bought this dryer about a month ago when we moved. I already had the same dryer and washer model from a few years ago, but with a gas hook up and my new house doesn't have a gas line in the laundry room. I was happy with the Whirlpool brand and so I bought the same dryer model to match and couldn't be more satisfied with the purchase. I am going to keep the gas one in case my next house has a gas line (I am active duty Marine Corps, so we move a lot). Overall, great dryer, highly recommend getting one.

I love the stacked washer and dryer. They're such a space-saver. The dryer and I have some issues about my white doubleknit pullovers that I wear with my hospital volunteer outfit. The dryer wants to treat them gently, which is good, but it can take ages on the "delicates" setting.

Years ago I had an electric dryer, didn't dry well at all, but this house was set up for electric. I have to say I've not had to turn clothes back on, they are always dry! Only thing that keep me from giving dryer 5 stars, buttons on front are very sensitive. I often hit them while reaching in cabinets above. Results in a turn off turn on button pushing session. I'd still buy another one.

We elected to buy the base model and it does the job. The materials that it is made of have declined in quality since the Whirlpool Duet W/D that we bought last time around. I wish that we could shut the annoying sound that tells us the load cycle is done.
