My mother loves this. It is easy to use, and was a breeze to put together.
I ordered and recieved this snow thrower just before we have had copius amounts of snow storms and snow squalls for the past 4 weeks. Don't let the small convenient size fool you. We do go out frequently to blow no more than 10 inches (25 cm) at a time if possible. If it's more than that, or when tackling the icy windrow at the bottom of the driveway, we do chunk it up to be able to throw the snow. It is light enough to carry up a couple steps to clear our deck, and then proceed to clear a pathway along the side of the house. We even clear a path in the yard for the dogs (the snow is about 3 feet deep). I would recommend have a small brush to clean off the snow and I use a paint stir-stick to clear the axles of the wheels next to the auger. The pin along there is showing rust already, but we'll address that after the snow has ended for the season. It's not enough for me not to recommend it. For a double driveway and 40 ft walkway we go through 2 sets of batteries. If the windrow is extra thick, 3 sets.
I have several other Worx tools, and love them, especially the brushcutter for our farm, and the chainsaw. I would buy this today, as we have 15" of snowfall, but, until there is a purchase tool only option, I will have to pass. No way way zm I spending money on another charger and battery. It's unfortunate that this option is not offered as is typically the case with Worx products.
I live in New England and bought this primarily for my front walkway which it handles fine. However, if there is a heavy or wet snowfall over 4 inches its really can't do the job and the batteries die quickly. Even in lighter snow, I literally have to push the snow wheels off the ground to clean down to the pavement. It would be nice if Worx came out with an equivalent to the EGO Power+ 24" or 28" snowblower for us northern climate dwellers.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had this a few seasons now. Works well for a battery operated snow blower. The snow can sometimes be too heavy or deep for it but we have short season. The shoot could be tougher. This hole was created by an ice chunk. I don't know if I can get a replacement
