Wyze battery camera with solar charge is a great security camera. The solar battery charger makes this a great addition to our system. No need to take the camera down every few weeks to charge and re setup. Color picture really makes a big difference in identifying subjects on screen.

I have a plethora of Wyze cameras but the Battery Camera pro has had issues recognizing the sd card and only producing still photos. I pray for a firmware update to fix the issue. Some work flawlessly and I have had consistent issues with others. I will continue to use all Wyze products.

I've used Wyze cams for years. I've always loved the quality and simplicity. I replaced all my older outdoor battery cams with the Battery Cam Pros because I wanted to get rid of the hub and we were having problems connecting to the stream while away. These new cameras are hub-free, they have amazing picture quality and we haven't had any problems connecting so far. All this AND they have a light! The only thing that I don't like - this the reason for 4 stars - is the mounting. The magnetic mounting of the old cameras was so nice. Super easy to adjust and remove for charging. These ones require that you unscrew the base to loosen and remove the camera. Then when you remount, you have to line everything up all over again. (There is the option to just take the battery out of the camera also, but with the angle of most of them, I'll have to loosen the base to move the camera to an angle where the battery will come out. Also, the screws that are included are very cheap and strip very easily. But, besides the mounting issues, the cameras have been awesome!

Easy to install but the battery does not last 6 months as advertised. It detects every little motion causing the battery to die within 1 week. Even when I turn the detection sensitivity down to the lowest setting it still detects nothing there. A shadow could set it off. Also causes the spotlight to constantly turn on. Finally I just gave in and got the solar battery.

Chunky, but good value. I bought 3 and they don't connect as well/quickly/reliably as the v3 and v4 cams. Detection seems to work well enough and the main feature of them having battery+solar was the big selling point. Not needing to run power made these a no-brainer.
