Purchased Biscuit for my spouse. We both love the toy pup. He travels with us, and when we arrive at the campsite, we show him off. One night camping, we had a couple over to watch a movie. Biscuit yelped, barked and whinned until I removed him to the bedroom so that we could have a bit of quiet. Our biscuit acts so much like a real Lab. Only con that we have -- we wish he could walk, too.

I bought Biscuit for my 4-year old son for Christmas. Since the first time he saw the commercial on TV he called Biscuit "my best friend." We can't have a real dog now, so I got him Biscuit. It was his favorite present Christmas morning. Biscuit worked. He doesn't follow all of the commands. He does use about 6-D batteries a day. But dispite these flaws he loves the toy. I do wish for the price it would walk. The mechanical sounds during movement are distracting. However, my biggest complaint is that the legs bow in after enough use. I saw the display in the store do the same thing and I was worried when I purchased the toy the the same thing would happen. In the store I chalked it up to strange kids harming the toy. At home Biscuit is well taken care of and only the grown ups carry it from room to room. No harm has befallen our Biscuit and sure enough, my fear realized, Biscuits legs bow in. So now he keeps falling over. I can't return it now because my son loves it and I'm afraid if I exchange it it would only do the same thing. I feel for the price it was somewhat a loss.

This product is no where near worth the price that you paid for it. I had a very hard time getting this product for my grandchild, couldn't find it when it was on sale, before christmas, had to pay extra charges to have it shipped from the warehouse...and for what...it doesnt meet the expectations for the price...there is a delay when a command is given...someone should have been more creative and made it at least walk or something for this price...

Overall - cute, as described, and expensive. I knew the price (obviously) but chose to get it anyway. It would be worth $75, but $150 is a little steep. I bought this because it was the "big" Christmas gift for my daughter (9). She loves it. Good for her but but probably not for much older kids. We have been considering buying a real dog but we're not ready so this was a fun idea for my daughter instead. The noises are realistic (with some mechanical sound). It does several basic commands - sit up, shake, lay, etc. When left alone for a few minutes it makes noise to let you know it wants attention. when you make a noise nearby it looks in your direction, and it "sees" when you walk in front of it (has optic and noise sensors). It doesn't stand or walk. The brush and the bone are just plastic - no sensors or activators in the items themselves. Anything put in its mouth will cause a biting action so you don't have to worry about losing those pieces. She's had it for a few days so I don't know how long it will be the hot toy in our house. (PS 6 D-cell batteries required)
