Zantac Cool Mint Tablets, 65 CT (Pack of 4)

I love ZANTAC! I give the original recipe 11/10 stars! I do wonder however who the big brain at Zantac was who said "let's add a dash of mint so they can feel the minty cool burn" it's like a hangover burp the day after Kentucky Derby when you ask yourself "Did I reaaaaally need that last mint julip?"

The cool mint flavor is nauseating. It's so strong that the taste stays in your mouth for up to a couple minutes after swallowing the pill even if you place the pill all the way in the back of your throat. It works, but the cool mint flavor literally makes me want to throw up. I'm throwing away the entire bottle.

My Mom used this product. But I have recently begun to get heart burn with certain foods. She recommended it to me. She gave me one of hers and it worked like a CHARM. And the effects lasted at least 24 hours. I have brought my own supply. I keep some in my purse, at home and at work. THANKS for such a fantastic product that REALLY DOES WHAT IT SAYS IT DOES!!! I love the cool mint flavor!

I had used this product for years after suffering an ulcer. I have recently started to use it again but it is hard to find, especially in the bottles. I do not care for the individual packaging. I did not even know that it comes in sugar-free. I also prefer the mint coating which is even harder to find. I was recently forced to purchased a chain brand label. I have to admit the price was good, but I do not know if it works as good.

I have suffered from severe, chronic GERD and Acid Reflux Disease for many years and have tried nearly every available prescription medication to treat it. Although I did require short-term treatment with omeprazole/esomeprazole to heal some esophageal erosion, Zantac works as well or better than any prescription medication I have taken for my acid reflux symptoms. I take one every evening to prevent overnight regurgitation, which had been a major problem for me over the years. Zantac begins to relieve my symptoms quickly, and I've never experienced any side-effects with it as I have with many PPI's. My physician has ordered Extra-Strength Zantac to be co-administered as part of my daily GERD treatment to reduce the possibility of future ulceration and esophageal erosion, and I will continue to take it regularly. And don't be fooled - generic ranitidine just doesn't work as well as Zantac. As one who knows, I only trust Zantac!
