Bought these containers a week ago to use to pack my lunch. Had pulled pork and put in microwave for 1min with the lid on but not twisted on. Melted a hole through it. Recommend a paper towel next time.

Purchased to freeze a variety of foods. Enough space is left at top for expansion during freezing process. Many have cracked. If food was hot, waited for food to go to reach room temperature before placing in containers, than placing in freezer.

I have been using these things for years (and some of the ones in my pantry have been around for many years!) When I lived overseas I had to get generic copies: those were not even close in quality. I use them for leftovers; portioning and freezing sauces, veggies, etc; premeasuring ingredients for baking (I do this days ahead and label each container so that on baking day I can just dump and mix); craft supply storage.... The medium (32oz) ones make great canisters to store bulk food so I don't need to have a 20 pound bag of rice, or beans, or whatever in the kitchen. My only issue is that the plastic becomes fragile when frozen. I wish that the lids came in more colors, even occasionally. I also wish that they came in 1 cup sizes, and/or a wider opening (more bowl-like). Fan for life, Thanks, SC Johnson!!

Although I use them for when storing leftovers, my main use recently is for freezer jams. Every summer, I make fresh strawberry and fresh blueberry jams. I use the 2 cup size, but only place 1 1/2 cups in a container and freeze.

This container holds almost 2 cups, which is not "small". I wish you'd bring back the 1 cup size container with the snap lid. It works perfectly for taking cereal to work, snacks for kids, storing leftovers. Will look for a different brand
