The King of Fighters [DVD] [2010]

This two-pack features a pair of very different Edgar Allen Poe adaptations. It begins with The Tell-Tale Heart (1960), a feature-length British horror film directed by Ernest Morris, with a cast that includes Adrienne Corri and Laurence Payne. Next up is a 1997 short film adaptation of The Oval Portrait, helmed by Phillip Boland, about a Civil War-era artist who grows obsessed with the subject of a portrait and ultimately causes the death of the subject - thereby laying the foundation for a curse that lasts centuries.
