Outdoor use is subject to climate. Talavera tiles are NOT frost proof and therefore they are NOT suitable for outdoor use in freeze/thaw climates. [coverage] One pound of broken Mexican tiles is about three 4x4 talavera tiles and it covers an area of approximately 0.33 SQ. FT. (or 3 pounds are required to cover 1 square foot area) [shipping] Please note that broken tile is sold by the pound, not by box, therefore we may consolidate orders into one box. Example: if you place quantity 2 of 5 pounds, we will send one box with 10 pounds of tile.
