Sawyer's water filter filters up to 250 gallons of bacteria-free water from any fresh water source, and lasts through 1,000 refills. It effectively removes many contaminants commonly found in water to EPA and WHO recommended levels. Featuring a submicron hollow fiber membrane filter, it uses a cluster of fibrous tubes to clean water. When the bottle is squeezed, water is forced through the walls of the tubes. Sediment, bacteria, protozoa, cysts and other contaminants are filtered out, meeting all applicable EPA recommendations.
