Toasted Head Merlot, Red Wine, 750 mL Bottle

Handcrafting wines since 1995, Toasted Head's estate vineyards in Yolo's Dunnigan Hills. A designated American Viticultural Area on the eastern side of California's North Coast appellation perched on rolling hillsides with well-drained gravelly loam soils. Named for the age-old practice of toasting barrel heads with fire, which is what helps to create the distinct toasted flavors in all our wines. This is a medium-bodied merlot with fragrant plum, cherry and vanilla notes, with hints of spice and toasted oak for complexity. The palate is big and soft with flavors of rich black fruits and cherry pie rounded out with a touch of smoke and chocolate. Varietal: 100% merlot.
