Calla is derived from the Greek word for "beautiful". Single blooms with thick, waxy petals are surrounded by light green long, knife-shaped speckled foliage. In hues of yellow, pink, red, lavender and a deep purple/almost black, the flowers stand tall and stately on strong stems. Simple and stunning while elegant and sophisticated, they are perfect clustered together and tied with a simple ribbon or presented singly in a cut-glass vase. Use in borders, beds or plant in containers on patios, decks and balconies. Excellent cut flower. Extremely long lasting. Ideal planted near water features or among hosta and ferns.
