Improving on DeMarini?s proprietary Paradox Plus+ composite and the D-Fusion handle, the CF8 is hot right out of the wrapper and ready for the serious fastpitch player looking improve her game with a high performance bat.Not only is the CF8 WTDXCFH HOPE (-10) designed to help the batter in the box, it is in the lineup to help do great things off the field as well. As part of a partnership with the Breast Cancer Research Foundation, for every purchase of a CF8 HOPE fastpitch softball bat, DeMarini will donate a portion of its proceeds to the foundation. This bat carries the same (-10) drop and balanced weight as the standard CF8 (-10), but is essentially a Limited Edition model available in purple with pink for Breast Cancer Awareness.The technology remains the same, as the barrel is composed of DeMarini?s stronger Paradox Plus+ composite. This material is as light as the composite used in the CF7, but stronger ? giving it a longer shelf-life as well as more pop. The handle is composed of a carbon infused Paradox Plus+ composite. This creates a stiffer handle, for reduced vibration in the hands on a miss-hit and more energy back to the barrel. The 2-piece design is connected by the D-Fusion 2.0 handle. This connection point has gotten a make-over from the CF7 model, enough so to dub it the 2.0 version. The D-Fusion 2.0 has been optimized to redirect vibration from the barrel away from the handle and back up to the barrel. This redirected energy is used against the ball, creating an incredibly responsive bat.
