Stylish Gretsch Build This guitar strays a bit from what you normally expect of a Gretsch, but it's still got some recognizable Gretsch characteristics. The chambered mahogany body with maple top boasts double cutaway design with a large lower bout. It has an old-school, recognizable headstock bearing the Gretsch name, surrounded by Schaller diecast tuning machines. There's also a "U" shape mahogany neck with an ebony fingerboard, lined with aged white neck binding. Signature Malcom Young Design This guitar is what it is, because Malcom was what he was. With an inimitable style that basically defined hard rock, his powerful chords rang out with their iconic sound, in part because of his awesome guitar. The G6131-MY has a very cool Space Control bridge with a Gretsch '60s Jet vibrato tailpiece. The thin satin finish of this guitar lets the sound ring through, in true rock style.
