Hinges for downspout extensions are made of .040 Galvanized steel then coated with a baked-on powder coated finish (the toughest paint available). Each hinge comes with a Metal Latch and Velcro Tab as shown in the picture The Metal Latch or Velcro Tab keeps the extension up when raised and fastened. Hinges come with installation instructions & screws.When choosing a style of hinge you want to match your existing elbow you have.
