Argiano is one of the oldest winemaking estates in Montalcino, Italy. Rosso di Montalcino is deep ruby red in color. It is medium bodied with a good concentration on the mid-palate. Elegant in the mouth, it is well balanced with tempting flavors of red berries, violets, menthol and earthiness. A generous wine with smooth, velvety tannins that will satisfy all Sangiovese lovers.

Spring was mild and punctuated by infrequent but heavy rains. The early part of the summer was hot, but benefi cial rains provided necessary water resources. September was stable, allowing for optimal ripening and excellent quality. Harvest occurred at the end of September.
