These Bostitch 10 In. aviation snips are designed for cutting heavy stock in a straight and/or a tight right curved cutting direction. These snips are developed with titanium nitride coated cutting blades which reduce wear and extend blade life by two times compared to FatMax compound action aviation snips. They cut up to 18 gauge cold rolled steel or 23 gauge stainless steel. The patented flush mounted hardware of the snips allow for smooth access from the pouch. This also helps prevent metal from catching onto the protruding hardware as the cut is being performed. These snips meet or exceed ANSI standards and are designed for applications including HVAC, roofing, siding and gutter, flooring and metalworking.
