Anarchy in a Jar is a unique line of jams, jellies, marmalades - and more recently mustards, created by "Jamarchist" Laena McCarthy. Her products are hand made in small batches in Brooklyn, NY. She uses the freshest, all-natural produce, botanical herbs and spices gathered from Greenmarkets, Brooklyn Grange Rooftop Farm and upstate farms. Her innovative flavors pop with freshness as she uses the bare minimum of sugar just to enhance the flavor.Anarchy in a Jar began in 2009 when Laena decided to leave her career in science and academia to utilize her lifetime of knowledge of canning jams with her mom in the Hudson Valley in NY.
