Artifacts Volume 1 features a unique and captivating collection of soundtrack and production pieces, scoring cues, and even song demos. Everything from epic themes and sweeping soundscapes, to gentle ambience and rockin' grooves. 'I had so many of these cool little pieces of music lying around that I figured it was time to assemble a bunch of them into a proper album.' says Mike. 'I also threw a few extras online - including a couple of video demos - for those who get the CD. This is different from the progressive rock stuff most people associate me with, although there are certainly traces of that in a couple of tracks.'
