In France these baby green beans are highly prized for their flavor and productivity. Hard to find in U.S. markets, and then only at very high prices. The beans are completely stringless, and flavor is deliciously sweet and uniquely different. Pods should be picked when young at 4 to 5 inches. The compact plants concentrate pod set so plan on large harvests over a relatively short period of time. Stagger plantings every two weeks until two months before the first frost for a continuous harvest. Resistant to anthracnose and common bean mosaic virus. Small seeded. Days to maturity: 55-60. Bush plant. Seeds per package: 80-100. Seeds per ounce: 180.
