Water Lily Sioux is, perhaps, the most enchanting water lily of all! On the first day, light yellow flowers float gently on the surface of the water above green lily pads mottled with red. As the days progress, the flowers change to deep orange and then turn to a coppery red. Each star-shaped flower boasts 19-20 petals. Deep green leaves enhance the dramatic changes of color. The Sioux's fragrant, colorful blooms and easy care make it an ideal choice for water gardens and ponds of all sizes. The plant itself will help supply oxygen to the water while assisting in minimizing algae blooms. It comes pre-planted in a weighted net bag to protect the tuber from being eaten by fish. Simply drop the plant in the desired place in the pond. Water Lily Sioux is winter hardy, and once placed in the pond it will survive harsh winters as long as the tuber remains below the ice level of the pond. Dormancy will end when the water warms.
