The Bulldog Hardware Eye Bolt has a loop on one end and machine threaded screw on the other. They are commonly used for tie-downs, anchoring chain and wire rope to a fixed surface such as wood, metal, concrete, etc. These eye bolts feature steel construction for strength and durability for increased load and stress bearing and are zinc plated to resist corrosion. Each eyebolt includes a mating nut in matching size and threads for convenience. May be used for on athletic or playground equipment. A pre-drilled hole slightly larger than the bolt diameter is required for installation. When using with wood, it is recommended that a properly sized washer (sold separately) be used to prevent the nut from recessing into the wood when tightened. A second nut and washer (one on each side of wood) may be required for some applications.
