The Clauss Ultraflex Shears has Ttanium Bonded, Transfer of Power fully, and adjustable blades with an Ergonomic Nylon Handle. Transfer of Power is a technology that only Clauss offers. In testing, Clauss examined how the bows, fulcrum and blades can flex during cutting. In order to eliminate this from happening, Clauss instituted ridged bows, oversized fulcrum and industrial strong blade backbone eliminating nearly all of the flex in a scissor, shear or snip therefore transferring all of the power to the cutting edges. Shears with a nut and bolt assembly can be adjusted to cut and run the way you prefer them for your particular needs. The steel is Titanium Bonded which is not painted or plated, but an application of a unique formulation of titanium and chromium nitride to the surface of cutting blades that actually penetrates and treats the metal to create a permanent bond.
