The mounting holes are spaced evenly apart and measure 2-1/4 in. from center to center; with a 5/8 in. latch projection. This style of sash lock does not use a separate keeper; because the latch engages directly into the fixed rail of the stationary sash to lock the window. Used on vertical and horizontal sliding windows.
