The Sonus Convertible Car Seat converts from a rear-facing car seat to a forward-facing seat as your child grows from infant to toddler. Evenflo recommends that parents utilize the rear-facing option for as long as possible. With this in mind, the Sonus Convertible Car Seat features a rear-facing weight rating of up to 40 pounds and a forward-facing weight rating of up to 50 pounds.
