The Flic 2 Programmable Smart Home Button Double Pack includes two Flic 2 Smart Buttons, which can trigger various smart devices, software, or mobile applications with a single button press using Bluetooth connections. Flic 2 Smart Buttons connect to virtually all of your smart devices and trigger simple to complex functions with a single command - push, double push, or hold. Each unique push of the button can be programmed to activate different individual devices, software functions, or groups of devices. Add, remove, and program all of your Flic devices from the Flic mobile app for iOS and Android. The Flic app enables you to set up and personalize your Flic buttons and devices to activate various smart home functions and scenes at the push of a button. Essentially any device with Bluetooth compatibility can be controlled by a Flic 2. Flic 2 Smart Buttons utilize Bluetooth 5.0 Long Range to communicate with compatible devices up to 164 ft (50m) indoors or up to 656 ft (200m) direct line of sight. A constant Bluetooth connection with a dedicated hub, such as your smartphone, tablet, or the Flic Hub LR, is required in order for Flic 2 Smart Buttons to retain their programmed triggers. With the HID (Human Interface Device) protocol, a Flic 2 button can act as a hotkey for specific programs on a Bluetooth compatible computer or smartphone. Flic 2 buttons can also work as a MIDI (Music Instrument Digital Interface) button to assist in recording, sound effects or other functions. Flic 2 buttons are powered by a single CR2032 battery with an average lifespan of up to 3 years. NOTE: Apple HomeKit connection requires an Apple HomePod, Apple TV, iPad, or iPhone set up as a home hub device.
