Guardian by PetSafe Outdoor Bark Deterrent | Birdhouse Design | Detects Barking

This is very ineffective. We have had it over a month, followed all directions, replaced batteries, no change in our dogs behavior.

I so wanted this to work. I read the reviews and was encouraged to give it a try. However, it seems that the device doesn't have a clear enough view of the perps. There's a board fence as well as folage between the yappers and the device. We turned it up to three but to no avail. So disappointed. I think it would work if there is a clear shot, but who wants to be able to look at the buggers.?

I've had it 1 1/2 weeks and haven't noticed much difference in my dogs' barking habits. It's hanging right outside my back door as I was hoping it would curb some of the indoor barking when someone comes to the door. Maybe it simply can't penetrate the door.

I NEVER give reviews on items but this Guardian Bark Deterrent has changed my life. I live next to horrible neighbors--but mainly they let their dogs bark all day, all night, and into the early morning hours. I read all the reviews before purchasing this item, and it was well worth the price for some peace and quiet!! The barking has stopped about 90% of the time and I would have rated this item 5 stars if it could traverse through a poor fence job where the pets are enclosed. When you have unreasonable neighbors up at all hours of the night, this product is well worth the cost, and I am expecting that after one more week of use there won't be any barking at all. It does NOT harm the pet; it essentially trains them to control their bark. It takes a 9volt battery and it is easy to test. Also, do not test inside the house if you have other pets, as it will scare them. I hope this helps battle any nuisances that you may have that I have had to deal with. Great Product.
