Use the included screws to screw it to the bottom (underside) of the door.If the door cannot be removed, position the foot pull three inches from the outside edge of the door and use the included screws to secure it to the backside of the door.If possible, remove the latch unit within the door handle assembly. The striker plate on the door frame can be left in place. If the door latch can not be removed, apply tape to both the latch assembly and strike hole. Doing this allows the door to open freely, eliminating the need to touch the knob or handle to release the latch.
