Detailed product description

The HI 981504 pH/total dissolved solids (TDS)/Temperature Monitor has manual calibration at one or two pH points and a single TDS point, and provides continuous measurement and simultaneous backlit LCD display of pH, TDS, and temperature selectable in degrees C or F. A pH/TDS/temperature monitor is used by researchers and hobbyists to measure nutrient parameters in hydroponics, greenhouses, and horticultural applications. The HI 981504 meter features the ability to select temperature display in degrees C or F. It comes with a gel-filled electrode with a waterproof sleeve to protect the Bayonet Neill-Concelman (BNC) connection. The electrode design provides a longer life, even in aggressive solutions. The meter set-up has a simplified process, where the device can be installed near the sample to be tested, indicator plugged in, and probes immersed in the sample. The monitor also comes with the HI 7634 TDS probe (fixed), temperature probe (fixed), two stainless steel temperature probes (fixed), 2-meter cable, pH 4.01 buffer solution sachet, 7.01 buffer solution sachet, HI 70042 (1500 ppm) calibration solution sachet, two HI 700661 electrode cleaning solution sachets, screwdriver, 12 VDC power adapter, power supply connector, and instructions. The HI 981504 meter works with a digital ballast. Specifications *(H is height, the vertical distance from the lowest to highest point; W is width, the horizontal distance from left to right; D is depth, the horizontal distance from front to back.) pH testers measure the acidity or alkalinity of a substance. TDS, such as salts and minerals, contribute to the conductivity of a solution. A TDS meter measures substance conductivity and converts it to a TDS reading. TDS readings are commonly used by researchers, manufacturers, and hobbyists in aquaculture, agriculture, hydroponics, and water-testing, and for scientific applications. Hanna Instruments manufactures analytical instrumentation and supplies, including pH meters, electrodes, chemical reagents, and buffer solutions. The company, founded in 1978 and headquartered in Woonsocket, RI, meets International Organization for Standardization (ISO) 9001 standards. What’s in the Box?
