The rubber overmold provides a good grip and is sturdy enough to withstand the inevitable drops and bumps along the way. It also has 11’ standout of reach that goes beyond the length of most sheet material. A feature you’ll find particularly useful when taking measurements alone. The autolock button allows the blade to stay out until you press the release button, which then engages it and allows it to retract easily. The button also keeps your fingers from being pinched. An oversized magnetic hook with superior 4-rivet hook attachment makes it easier to hook from top or bottom. When you’re not at your workbench or lugging around a toolbox, you’ll want your tape measure clipped to your belt. The included belt clip has a superior hook attachment for above average clip strength and less belt/pocket fraying.
