Amla, also known as gooseberry, is native to India and has been traditionally used for restoring vitality to dry and damaged hair. Steeped in Ayurveda tradition, Amla is commonly prescribed to those suffering from alopecia, dandruff, split ends, hair thinning, and premature greying. The hair oil is created by submerging the gooseberry (Amla fruit) into virgin sesame oil. The fruit remains in the oil until all the soluble vitamins and minerals have seeped into the virgin sesame oil, resulting in a dark oil with fulsome amounts of therapeutic content.
