Michael J. Fox host a nostalgic tribute to America's favorite gangster, James Cagney. Cagney exploded onto the silver screen during the Great Depression. He struck a chord with American Audiences by playing several roles as the tough guy. One of his famous lines, "I don't take nothing from nobody." said it all. The characters that he portrayed fought the government, the law and big business head-on. Depression era audiences ate it up. But Cagney was versatile too, as he also won our hearts as song and dance man George M. Cohan, in the classic "Yankee Doodle Dandy". Born and raised in a tough immigrant section of New York City, Cagney stumbled into acting by chance and never looked back. His first Broadway hit, "Penny Arcade" became his first Hollywood movie, retitled "Sinners Holiday". He then went on to star in some of the biggest hits of the '30s, '40s and '50s, including "Public Enemy", "Angels With Dirty Faces", "A Midsummer Nights Dream", "White Heat" and "Mister Roberts". "Top of the World" is a fitting tribute to one of America's most admired actors, James Cagney.
