Junior Learning® Letters & Sounds Phase 2, Set 1, Fiction Readers

Letter Sound readers introduce the first 21 letter sounds. These readers have been written using a strictly controlled vocabulary. Text uses only decodable regular words (according to a week by week progression) along with 'tricky words'. Tricky words are words frequently used that are not decodable. First page in each books lists the letters being featured and any tricky words. Letters and Sounds Phase 2 Set 1 Readers have a Guided Reading Levels A-C and Reading Levels 1-3 classifications. They are also in the Early 1 (Red) book band category. Set includes 12 fiction readers, each with colorful illustrations. Phase 2 readers have a strictly controlled vocabulary that follows the letter-by-letter progression.
