The tire offers a turf friendly performance. The ribbed tread pattern ensures the tires traction without harming or damaging the turf and grass field. While the tires are in motion, the ribbed design keeps the models excellent traction but prevent damage to the turf. As a result, the tire is perfect for lawn mower applications. The tread designs optimal turf and terrain contact enables the tires effortless controllability. The treads ribbed pattern closely follows the road surface and improves the steering responsiveness and driving stability. The better control over the tires enables the tires excellent turf performance in all weather. The K401 Multi Rib promotes great flotation and high mobility. Even on rougher terrain surfaces, where high flotation is required, the tire is capable of securely performing. This allows the tire to improve its forward motion on various turf surfaces, promoting a smooth performing capability. This is a bias ply tire. Due to the tires internal construction and size, it is possible that the tire will look deformed. Smaller bias ply tires do not have reinforced constructions that can keep the tire from deforming. The bias construction and the small tires non-reinforced internal structure allow the tire to fold in when it is deflated or not properly inflated. This is not constructional damage or an issue; it is a normal occurrence with such tires. In such cases, the tire needs to be mounted and inflated to the proper PSI or, in some instances, an inner tube needs to be added. The proper PSI and the inner tube are able to maintain the tires ideal shape, preventing the bias plies from looking deformed. This ensures their performing safety and durability.
