The FreePlay is also able to sync with your Bluetooth enabled devices instantly at the touch of a button, so setting up a mic and guitar, then adding some backing tracks from your iPhone is as simple as it sounds. It’s powerful, with a full-range detail that is well suited for the variety of applications it can handle. At -10dB it has a frequency response from 65Hz to 20kHz with a maximum peak SPL of 114dB, so you’ll have plenty of juice to stand out in the crowd. Right out of the box the FreePlay sounds great, but what fun would it be if you didn’t have control over it? That’s why Mackie included a built-in 4-channel mixer with access to volume, EQ and effects for each channel right from the hardware or via the FreePlay Connect app for iPhone and iPod Touch.
