MEINL Pickup Cajon Snare

Featuring dual internal sets of snares with a throw-off switch, an upright playing position and a responsive American White Ash playing surface, the Pickup Cajon Snare combines the familiarity of a snare drum with the warmth of a cajon. The wood surface is textured to get a crisp brush sound and the hollow body produces a warm snare tone while a passive Piezo pickup system with bass and snare tone control allows you to mix and boost your sound through an amp or PA system. This snare is equipped with a quarter-inch jack and includes the Meinl Standard Cajon Brushes featuring a thick bundle of nylon bristles for a fat attack note. Fits on any snare basket stand.
