NEW! These glossy little Italian heirloom onions resemble big, plump, rosy-brown buttons and have fine-grained flesh with well-rounded, full flavor. Cippolini are long-day onions that store well to enjoy in the kitchen for months. Traditionally, these little 1 1/2 to 2 inch onions are braised in a sweet and sour sauce or pickled and they are also perfect to boil and sauce or grill on kabobs. We import seed directly from Italy for a productive, vigorous crop each season.
