Phyn - Plus Smart Water Assistant with Shutoff

I am impressed with the product, care taken with packaging, and instructions. Within the first 48 hours of use I detected a small intermittent toilet leak and was able to assess my daily water usage to make better use of my water resources. I look forward to continued improvements as my Phyn and I get better acquainted.

Product does what it says it will. It has a good smart app and controls water flow when needed. My driver relates to the wifi connectivity. The unit has such poor reception that it drops my signal consistently. The WiFi router is next door to the device. About 10 ft away. Every time it drops I get a SMS notification. Super annoying. Otherwise : the device functions as intended.

I cannot make Phyn work reliably with my Google Nest mini. Company provided obsolete setup information, too. Also, I do not think that Phyn is very sensitive. I installed a new faucet in my house and when I opened it up, Phyn detected it as a toilet. I was assuming that it would identify this as a leak or burst pipe and shut off the water. No so. Including install costs, Phyn was very expensive. We expected better for that much money.

My Experience with Phyn Plus is that is a very good devise but it does have some flaws. They need to get more detailed and allow the user to "specifically" label their own sinks and bathrooms so we know exactly which area may have running water that needs to be looked into instead of generic labeling.

Great product! I installed the product in copper plumbing with shark bite fittings. This made the installation fast and easy; no soldering. The app was easy to down load and set up. The unit alerted me to a leak the first night. It was a small leak in a garden hose. I repaired the leak and am now monitoring daily usage for conservation.
