Star Trek The Next Generation - Jean-Luc Picard Collection

Disc One: "The Big Goodbye": When the holodeck malfunctions, Captain Picard, Data, Dr. Crusher and Whalen, the ship's historian, become trapped in San Francisco, 1941, where they are held hostage by murderous gangsters. Can the Captain and crew get back to the Enterprise in enough time to help the ship pass through the Jarada and the Korona IV quadrant? "Sarek": The U.S.S. Enterprise is plagued by an outbreak of violence when it is visited by the renowned Vulcan ambassador, Sarek. Discovering that Sarek is dying from an incurable disease, Picard must mind-meld with him to allow the ambassador to complete a last vital negotiation between the Federation and the Legaran. "Family": While the Enterprise undergoes repairs on Earth, crew members reunite with family. Picard comes face-to-face with his jealous brother Robert, Worf's human foster parents visit him on board the Enterprise and Dr. Crusher givers her son a computer disc containing a holographic message from his late father. "The Drumhead": After an unexplained explosion on the Enterprise appears to be sabotage, Admiral Norah Satie turns a search for a spy into a witch-hunt in which on one is safe - not even Captain Picard! Disc 2: "Darmock": Following repeated failed attempts to communicate with a race whose language has proven impenetrable to humans, Picard is forcibly beamed to a planet to meet the Captain of the ship. Keen to establish peaceful first contact, the unarmed Picard is dismayed to find that the alien carries two daggers, and is intent on commencing battle. "The Inner Light": The Enterprise encounters an alien probe which fires a mysterious particle beam at the ship, rendering the Captain unconscious. Awaking in unfamiliar surroundings, Picard is surprised to learn that he is now "Kamin," a simple iron weaver, destined to live his entire life on the drought-stricken planet Kataan. "Tapestry": After Picard loses his life in a surprise attack, "Q" plays God and gives him the chance to relive parts of his life and change his destiny. But will Picard be the same man he was if history is rewritten. "From Here To Infinity": A fascinating documentary of space exploration; "Starfleet Personnel File"; "Starfleet Career Summary", Documentary, NTSC.
