The Verizon (tmobile) chip for the straight talk phone is FAR superior to the AT&T chip. At first I tried the AT&T one, which is the only one you can get from straighttalk.com. Service was terrible no matter where I was, even in metro areas.. The Verizon chip provides excellent service. I have yet to find a place with a bad signal and I have traveled the country with both chips.
