The “linear-drive” strainer was designed to give you more control over the adjustment arm. You won’t hear that usual slap when the snares hit the bottom head. This guarantees a seamless transfer when going between snare sounds. This strainer also keeps the snare wire/tape holder at a 30 degree angle to reduce any and all unnecessary pressure on the strainer as well as the shell.
