Like its namesake, known as "the world within a city," 'Toronto' has something for everyone. Blooms of lustrous rose touched with vermilion open to reveal a tangerine-red interior and a buttercup-yellow base with bronze-green accents. Like other greigii tulips, 'Toronto' also features exquisite foliage, which is mottled and streaked with purple. Although multi-flowered tulips are not considered a separate class, they are distinguished from other tulips by the fact that each stem will produce a bouquet of at least four to six full-sized flowers.
