Huge fan of Vizio until both of my 65” Quantums went whacky on me. The units cycle through on off, going to black screen repeatedly with no audio. I have to restart both TV's to get them to stop cycling on and then black screen. I have religiously stayed up to date with all up dates but still after 2 years no solution to whacky Quantum's. Very frustrating.

The 58" Vizio Class M7 Series 4K TV is a pretty nice unit. The screen size is plenty big for our house - which is in use in a smaller living room. The image is clear, and it has good color and sound. The sound is actually one of the most impressive parts of the TV. For a flatscreen, I feel like this unit has good frequency response, decent (not amazing) bass, and the virtual surround sound option is actually pretty cool. There are A LOT of features available on this model, and of course the one most people will notice right away is the "smart" feature. Personally, I don't use the built-in Vizio OS. From what little I worked with it, it seemed to do it's job. However, we already have another streaming player we use on a regular basis that we highly prefer. Unfortunately, that means I can't comment much of the smart capabilities of this TV, but the main thing I've noticed is that it doesn't have a long boot time - which is a common complaint with many lower-end smart TV's. The biggest issue I have with this model is the viewing angles. When you are straight-on with the TV, it looks AMAZING. But just going about 30 degrees off axis, you can quickly notice a drop-off in quality. By the time you get to 45 degrees, the color and contrast is very inaccurate. That said, I don't recommend this for a room with wide angles. Overall, I think for the price I paid (black Friday deal) it was worth it. However, if it wasn't for the price on a TV this size, I think I would have gone a different direction.

Very nice picture with a good dynamic range. Not as crisp as the $1500+ TVs but well worth the price. The feet are perpendicular to the TV so it rests on a smaller than expected piece of furniture.

I bought the 58" Vizio. It was shipped to me from California to South Carolina. When it arrived, the screen was damaged and i had to return it to my local Sam's Club. The local club had no more 58" televisions in stock, so i bought a 65" Vizio (same series) and it is working great.

Absolute junk. Purchased 7 months ago for gaming use. Horizontal glitch bars all over the screen, was intermittent now non stop. And when it does it the frame rate freezes so impossible to play any games. Does it in any source, even the built in apps. Going to try and warranty it but they expect you to ship it back in its box which is gone and you have to pay for it yourself. If they don't resolve I'll never buy Visio again.
