This variety sports various shades of cream, yellow, chestnut, and deep red on bicolored blooms 2" wide. An All America Selections Winner in 1952, it is very similar to the species grown in the 19th century, and will lend spark to your garden. It thrives in heat and dry weather and makes wonderful cut flowers that last long in a vase. Seedlings arrive in 3 inch wide, 3.5 inch deep pots.
