In every ancient culture, Sacred Sound was a part of everyday life. Sound was medicine. Suntara's contribution to this phenomenon is quot;Sound Medicinequot;. Sound Medicine is not your every day Sound Healing or meditation album with synthesizer pads and a planned arrangement. Daniel Coates had a burning desire to capture sacred and inspired sounds in the studio. A few years and a few attempts later, Sound Medicine came to life after Daniel recorded National Falls waterfall in Royal National Park in NSW. A few days later some sufi style chants arrived out of the ether (while he was doing the dishes) and the marriage of the two became quot;Three Waterfallsquot;. Master didge player Joshua Tree from Sydney arrived a few days later, so late that we only had 10 minutes to cut his didge track. The time pressure created a diamond of a didge piece and the chants dropped in a few days later to complete quot;Dreamtimequot; a hauting aboriginal style piece. quot;Crystal Voicesquot; explores how the synergy of 3 voices can create a fourth voice that sounds like a crystal bowl. None of this was planned, it arrived and it was captured and Daniel's dream came true. Sound Medicine can be used for meditation, to go to sleep, to clear energy or to inspired creativity.
